Entry Criteria and Competition Rules

The competition is organised by DediPower Managed Hosting Limited (“DediPower”) and is subject to the following entry criteria and competition rules:

  1. Entrants must be resident in the UK.
  2. Entrants must be aged between 17 and 30 on 1st September 2009.
  3. Entries must be for a business idea with the internet at the core of its delivery.
  4. The business idea must be (at least) targeted at the UK marketplace and be able to be hosted in the UK.
  5. Entrants must have a bank account in the UK.
  6. Entrants must be available in the 1st two weeks of March 2010 to attend the presentation ceremony in London.
  7. Competition winners will be notified in March 2010.
  8. Competition winners’ names will be published in the Sunday Telegraph and online at www.DediPowerDigitalAwards.com
  9. Competition winners may be required to take part in and co-operate with publicity.
  10. Competition winners agree to keep confidential any information about DediPower and its business received by them as a result of taking part in the competition.
  11. Entries are open to individuals, groups of individuals, partnerships and limited companies.
  12. Employees of DediPower and any other company associated with the competition and their families are not eligible to enter the competition.
  13. The closing date for entries is 8th February, 2010 until 11.59pm.
  14. DediPower shall not accept any responsibility for any delay or failure to deliver any competition entry, nor for any theft, destruction, alteration, loss or damage to any competition entry.
  15. DediPower shall not be responsible for the return of any competition entries.
  16. By entering into the competition entrants warrant that all information submitted is true, correct and complete and does not infringe the intellectual property or any other rights of any third party.
  17. DediPower reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the competition if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has breached these rules.
  18. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  19. The business investment of up to £25,000 which is part of the Business Award is subject to the terms of the investment being agreed with DediPower.
  20. By entering into the competition, entrants are deemed to agree to these rules.
  21. DediPower may amend these rules at any time.
  22. DediPower reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time if it deems necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
  23. DediPower will keep entrants’ personal details for a reasonable time after the closing date to verify that these rules have been complied with and for accounting purposes.
  24. These rules are governed by the laws of England.
